Yumbumtum
Yumbumtum is a health and home exercise app. It needed every movement shown clearly, so people could follow along without a trainer in the room.
The brief
Exercise instructions have to be read at a glance on a phone, mid-workout. Clarity mattered more than flair, and the app needed one consistent look across a big library of content.
The approach
I designed a clean, flat character style with a diverse cast and animated the full library of exercise movements, so every rep reads cleanly on a small screen.
Alongside the exercises, I made the explainer that introduces the app, plus short pieces on food and on how the body works.
