About CrispFX
You talk tothe animator
I'm Greg Stewart. I've been animating since 2010, and started CrispFX in 2024.
I started CrispFX because I wanted to make the work, not manage it from a distance. 600+ projects later, I'm still hands-on in every one, and when a job needs extra hands, I bring in specialists I trust.
I've made work for broadcasters, universities, health services, government agencies and brands across Australia and overseas. Past clients include Amazon, ESPN, the Indiana Pacers, Flinders University, ECU, SA Power Networks and ReturnToWorkSA.
Good animation starts with a clear story. The motion matters, but the message matters more. So every project starts with your audience and what you need them to understand, before I design a single frame.
You deal with me the whole way through. No account managers, no getting passed around.
How I work
Six thingsI won't budge on
Hands on, every time
I'm across every frame. When a job needs more hands, I bring in specialists I trust and stay your point of contact.
A fee, not a rate
I quote a fixed price so you know the number up front, and I know the brief.
One point of contact
You brief me, you hear from me, and the files come from me. No middlemen.
Sign off the look first
You see every scene on the storyboard before anything moves, so the animation holds no surprises.
Six weeks, mostly
Long enough to make something good. Short enough that you still remember the brief.
Say no, kindly
If I'm not the right fit, I'll tell you fast and point you to someone who is.

Adelaide-based, working anywhere
I work from Adelaide, on Kaurna Country. About a third of my work is local, and the rest comes from interstate and overseas. Everything runs on video calls and online review tools, so distance has never been a problem.
