Character explainer
UTAS and TAFE SA · Disability in VET
A character-led explainer that makes a policy obligation feel human.
University of Tasmania, with TAFE SA
Training providers have to make reasonable adjustments so students with disability can take part on the same basis as everyone else. The University of Tasmania, working with TAFE SA, brought CrispFX in to explain what that means in practice.
The brief
The topic sits on top of law and standards, like the Disability Standards for Education. The video had to explain the obligations without reading like a compliance document, and show that every student is different.
The approach
A bright, flat world with friendly characters and clear icons guides viewers through enrolment, participation, assessment and support services. The message stays simple: adjustments meet individual needs, and they shouldn’t affect the quality of training.
