Series graphics
SolarQuotes · Solar 101
Graphics that make solar questions simple, built for an ongoing series.
SolarQuotes
Solar 101 is a SolarQuotes video series answering the questions people ask before they buy solar. I made the graphics for it.
The brief
Give the series a consistent look and explain the tricky bits visually, so the editor could drop graphics straight into each episode.
The approach
A clean 3D house on a compass, with the sun arcing overhead, shows why panels facing east or west behave differently through the day. Titles and lower thirds were built as editable templates, so the series could keep going without coming back to me for every name.
What was delivered
- 3D explainer graphics for episode 1
- Title and lower third templates (MOGRTs) for the edit
Graphics and animation by Greg Stewart, CrispFX, for SolarQuotes. Series edited by Johnny Taranto.
