Universal Music wanted classic catalogue to feel at home on TikTok. STN Digital brought CrispFX in to animate it.
The brief
Turn square archival performance footage into vertical videos that fill the frame and follow each artist's brand.
The approach
Bennie and the Jets got 70s electric kinetic lyrics wrapped around the performance. Your Song got floating hearts for Valentine's Day. For The Rolling Stones, a looping walkthrough of their interactive playlist site, with a cursor, clicks and typing sounds.
