3D animation that turns invisible radio signals into something you can see.
Consunet
DUST is a technical product that works with radio signals, which are invisible by nature. CrispFX was brought in to make the idea visible.
The brief
Consunet needed to explain DUST, its radio spectrum tool, developed with support from Defence. Working through Red Bikini in 2022, I took Consunet's script through styleframes and storyboards to a finished three-minute film.
The approach
A dark, precise 3D world: a glowing DUST title, a city map where signals and opportunities light up, and a spectrum view showing how the airwaves fill up. The look is colourful and layered but stays exact, so an engineering idea reads as a clear story.
