Dominant needed chemical awareness training for the people who use its cleaning products every day. CrispFX designed and animated the course, then built it into four interactive training modules that run in any LMS.

The brief

The content is safety-critical: responsibilities, the systems behind labelling, safety data sheets and PPE, and how to handle, store and respond to accidents. Watching a video wasn't enough. Learners had to show they understood it before they could move on.

The approach

Each module is an animated lesson with knowledge checks built in. The video pauses at key moments and asks the learner to do something: drag the right signal word onto a product label, pick the hazard from a real Dominant label, or choose the right precautions before using a product. Get it right and the lesson carries on. Get it wrong and the feedback explains why, so the rule sticks.

Behind it is a custom HTML5 player with an editor, so checkpoints can be timed to the frame and changed without rebuilding the module. The animation uses a clean visual system in Dominant blue, with simple icons for every key idea: do not mix, correct dilution, dispensing, safe storage, first aid.
